The meeting started with a debrief and discussion about National Trust’s mapping efforts and their plans going forward. They are looking into the possibility of presenting at the osm uk chat in a future month.

Financial Report

The financial report was shared by Jon via email and tallies up with civicrm:
2 new members, 9 renewals in June. 1 corporate membership renewal

Loomio

There are still a bunch of spam accounts trying to join Loomio, but a few genuine accounts among them. most activity is moving to community page.

Projects

QP 2

The quarterly project on defibrillators has concluded and shows a visible uptick from before the project started. https://osm.mathmos.net/defib/history-stats.html

A part of the project did encourage people to encourage ‘guardians’ of AEDs to register or correct location of defibrillators to The Circuit. They have mentioned that they’ve noticed an increase in registrations. Whether this is coincidental or not is unclear, but is a benefit for all of us.

QP3

We’re a little late in announcing this but QP3 will be on stale data. This is checking/confirming data which may or may not be up to date.

Gareth hosted another event in June which was screen sharing editing crossings and discussing tagging approaches on incremental detail etc.

This is scheduled on the 15th of July. This will be talking about the quarterly project.
